Hampton Synagogue Choir
This unique international men’s vocal ensemble of young and talented professional singers was created by its music director and conductor, Maestro Izchak Haimov, in 2004. The ensemble has a very active concert life, and has performed in the best concert halls of New York, such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Merkin Hall, and The Millennium Theatre. This group has performed very successfully in Kosherica Cruises working with the best cantors of the world. In 2012, they performed at The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, in Washington D.C., and at international Jewish music festivals sharing the stage with world renowned musicians.
Each member of the group has an independent operatic career, and together they are one of the best vocal group in the Jewish world. Specializing in Jewish liturgical and folk music, they perform music from all over the world: Hebrew, Yiddish, Ladino, Russian, English, Italian, Spanish, French, and Neapolitan songs. They also perform popular music of all types, Broadway tunes and classical pieces.
The members of the group come from different countries. These many cultures are blended in a harmonious bouquet where each member shares his abundant experience of life and music. It has become one of the best ambassadors proclaiming the beauty of the music it serves.
